DAVID, Panama – The World Baseball Softball Confederation revealed the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup® 2018 “All-World Team” Sunday night, following the conclusion of the World Championship Final between Panama and the United States at Estadio Kenny Serracín.

The best 15-year-old baseball players in the world – spanning five nations and two continents (Americas and Asia) — are represented on the WBSC U-15 All-World Team.

The All-World Team is highlighted by Most Valuable Player (MVP) Cody Schrier, shortstop of the U.S. National Team. Schrier led all eligible batters in average (.526), runs scored (16) and OPS (1.577), while also tying for the global tournament lead in home runs with two (statistics prior to the Final).

USA led the All-World squad with four players, while Panama had three players named to the team. Japan had two players represented.

Panama National Team reliever Alexis Bernal did not allow an earned run over 7 innings of relief and had 11 strikeouts to earn the Best Relief Pitcher Award.

USA National Team first baseman/pitcher Brady House hit his way on the All-World Team, leading the tournament with 14 RBI with one home runs and a .462 batting average.

The All-World second baseman from the Japan National Team — Seiya Fukuhara – led the World Cup with five stolen bases in six attempts.
