The WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2020 will take place from 30 October to 8 November, quickly followed by the WBSC Women's Baseball World Cup, which will also be held in Tijuana, from 12-21 November.

The European Championships serve as official qualifiers for the WBSC Baseball World Cups.

Following a video conference on Tuesday with WBSC Continental Associations and Local Organising Committees, the WBSC took the decision to postpone the events until further notice.

With the WBSC U-15 Baseball World Cup 2020 set to be staged in the Americas, the COPABE continental championship in Playa del Carmen will qualify four teams to the World Cup.
